https://ordi.space is now live.
If you're familiar with Bitcoin, you've likely used mempool.space, an app that visually represents all aspects of the Bitcoin protocol, including the mapping of transactions within each block. However, one limitation is its inability to display specific details about Ordinal transactions such as Ordi txns within each Bitcoin block. This includes the number of Ordi txns, their sizes, the fees paid to miners by Ordi users, the average fee per Ordi transaction, and other relevant Ordi metadata.
To address this gap, we introduce ordi.space. This platform is akin to mempool.space but focuses exclusively on Ordi transactions. It aims to provide a comprehensive explorer for Ordi transactions in the Bitcoin blockchain, offering insights into their specific characteristics and metrics.
Ordimap are comprised of 4 colors for the 4 different transaction types that make up BRC20 tokens.
Black - 000000 - Deploy Transaction - Only found in the Genesis Block
Red - FF0000 - Mint Transactions
Yellow - FFFF00 - Transfer-inscribe Transactions
Blue - 0000FF - Transfer Transactions
The order of the transactions in the map is by which one is sent first in that block and the size of the transaction square within the block is determined by the amount of Ordi transacted. So a 1000 Ordi transaction square will be larger than 1 Ordi transaction square. Larger transactions signal higher utility so are larger squares in each Ordimap.
Ordi Blocks with 0 transactions are called empty blocks. Empty blocks are identified as an empty white square.
White - FFFFFF - Empty Ordi Block - 0 Transactions
